Well, I made it! Started off this week feeling pretty much how I had in the first trimester... tired. But Sunday I finally got out for a six mile run and it went better than I ever expected. I thought I'd be running around a 10:15/mile and ended up running more moderately around 9:15/ mile. It was the first time I had a sitter for a run and I am sure I was trying to get those six miles in before the hour was up! I haven't been getting in more than 2-3 runs a week for a long time, and only a 5-6 mile run every two weeks. I am hoping now that the weather is nicer, and I hit the second trimester, that this will change a bit. I really miss those short an quicker three mile runs outside. I am happy with where I am at, considering that I am growing a baby!
